About Us

In Ayurveda the word Svasthya is the Sanskrit term for good health, and it translates as being rooted in the self.
स्वास्थ्य (svāsthya)

The word mandala also a Sanskrit word Literally means "circle." The circle is seen as a magical form, without beginning and end, just as the universe is believed to have no end.

The Name - Svasthya Mandala therefore is a community that is rooted in the self while harmoniously coexisting with the Nature around.

Svasthya Mandala is an upscale gated community developed by Hatha Group. Health is the Central theme of the project. The focus being clean and sustainable air, water, energy. As you explore new alternatives to live in consonance with nature, we help you, by bringing nature a bit closer to you, while still living in the heart of the city right in Whitefield, with our environmentally responsible project, Svasthya Mandala . We achieve all of the above with construction practices that combine eco-friendliness and sustainability

Project Highlights

  • Thermal efficiency
  • CSEB blocks
  • Rainwater swales
  • Eco STP
  • Zero waste community

Eco-friendly and sustainable construction practices have become increasingly important in today's world. Svasthya Mandala’s gated community in Whitefield prioritize the preservation of the environment by reducing the negative impact on ecosystems, conserving natural resources, and minimizing pollution. We use sustainable materials, implement efficient energy systems, and employ waste management strategies at our Villas in Whitefield , Varthur and Bellandur, Gunjur and KR Puram to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to the preservation of the planet.

Svasthya Mandala’s sustainable construction practices emphasize energy efficiency in buildings. Our villas in Whitefield, Varthur and Bellandur, Gunjur and KR Puram incorporate features like the CSEB blocks, have proper insulation, and can significantly reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. This not only benefits the environment but also helps the occupants save on energy costs, besides creating healthier and more comfortable living and working spaces.

We promote effective waste management at our gated community across Bangalore, including in Bellandur through the proper implementation of the eco sewer treatment plant. We realize that sustainable construction practices go beyond environmental considerations and should also address social aspects.

We believe in refilling our needs with the help of natural sources. The rainwater swales at our villas in Whitefield, Varthur, Bellandur, Gunjur and KR Puram follow effective and sustainable stormwater management techniques that can contribute to building a more sustainable future. These shallow, vegetated channels or depressions are designed to capture, slow down, and filter rainwater runoff, providing numerous benefits like erosion control, water quality improvement, sustainable landscaping, biodiversity and habitat creation among others. We also have a rain-sustained, state-of-the-art centralized  Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in our villas to recharge the water resources sustainably.

The community plays a multifaceted role in sustainable management, from raising awareness and education to active participation in decision-making, resource management, advocacy, and monitoring. Communities play a crucial role in shaping, implementing, and maintaining sustainable practices, whether it's at the local, regional, or global level.

Communities can actively participate in resource management by adopting sustainable practices such as water conservation, sustainable agriculture, responsible fishing, and forest management. By collectively managing and protecting their resources, communities can ensure their long-term availability for future generations. Their involvement is crucial for the achievement of sustainable development goals and for creating a better future for both people and the planet. At Svasthya Mandala, we understand the importance of community in sharing the responsibility of sustainable management. Hence, at all our villas including the gated community in Bellandur, we have a thriving group of individuals who are environmentally aware and strive towards the goal of sustainability.

Energy: Efficient practices to meet energy needs

All our structures use 100% CSEB Blocks that in turn ensures a very low Carbon Footprint as CSEB Blocks not only reduce our dependence on overused building products, but also reduce our usage of Paint, Primers, Putty, and other harmful chemical and plastic products. Moreover, CSEB Bricks are sun-dried, a natural curing process, and not burnt in a polluting kiln such as red bricks.

To make a CSEB Block, we reuse the very soil that is excavated from the villa site- this is then pressed using a heavy machine press - right on the site (come visit us to see this process!)- we manufacture our own CSEB block thereby ensuring uniformity and Blocks of the highest quality. CSEB Blocks are superior to Concrete and to Red Burnt bricks in weight-bearing capacity, thermal efficiency, insulation, and extended life not to mention the aesthetics and beauty of a Brick design which is far superior to concrete structure. Even inside the villa no matter how cluttered your inside looks, the brick walls take all the attention.

Water: Addressing water supply pressure through rainwater dependency

By providing 2 water bodies right inside the community- we also ensure that the community is independent for most of the year of water from external sources such as Tankers and Bore water as we believe Rainwater should be adequate to service all the water needs. We capture the rainwater from the villas and all around the community using natural Swales that direct all the collected rainwater to these water body that in turn stores this water for daily reuse. This water is further treated in a state-of-the-art water treatment plant that then filters, softens, and cleans the water before it reaches the homes in the community.

By provisioning an eco friendly Sewer/Wastewater Treatment System- we also ensure that this is a Zero Waste community as no human waste will leave the community as everything will be treated and accounted for within this Treatment System. The modern system also ensures 100% odour and noise-free operation as the entire process is tried and tested for these factors.

Air: Natural ventilation to provide fresh air

With cross ventilated windows in every bedroom, a double-height entry porch connecting the upper and lower levels of the home to provide for maximum natural light in the most used areas of the home, a ventilation stack which is from the ground to the second floor to carry hot air out and bring fresh air in, and high insulation properties of the CSEB blocks, these villas ensure a lifestyle that is one of health and prosperity.

The very essence of Svasthya MANDALA- YOU, YOUR HOME, YOUR UNIVERSE!!

Highlights

Water independence

Our community utilizes rainwater eliminating the need to depend on an external source. Two ponds inside the community acts as the rainwater reservoir year- long

Rainwater swales

We make use of swales to retain water and recharge the groundwater. A gently sloping ditch or open canal with grass is used to channel water as it runs along the side of a road. As water travels down the ditch, it is absorbed by the ground, eliminating the need for a large and costly concrete drainage system.
