It’s never about just personal growth but also about standing tall to uplift those who are less fortunate! Carrying forward this philosophy, MD of Hatha group, Mr.Reddy, weaved in the concept of ‘Giving without expectations’, which transcended clear heart philanthropy in the organization.MD of Hatha Group is a generous giver and has been very active in various NGOs and also a founding member of few of them. Giving back to society is one of the core principles of Hatha culture.
He is the founder member of an NGO called ABC “Acharyas for Better Community” which aims to help the poor kids in Govt schools.His work towards helping the Chennai flood victims in December 2015 has been laudable. He not only contributed but also gathered funds from FACEBOOK and sent Trucks of food and clothing to flood-affected areas in Chennai, Cuddalore.
“Acharya’s” is a group of volunteers having Vision of happy, healthy and creative children whose rights are protected and honored in a society.”
Currently, we are working closely with multiple government schools in and around Whitefield for the betterment of education/Infrastructure/health standard.
We have prepared the list of requirements for all these schools and working on those requirements.
Around 30 Volunteers of this group are educating children in those schools consistently.
In addition to teaching, we believe in good health of those children considering that we started a program “Run to Sun” last week under which we are organizing sports event in multiple schools. there are other programs and initiative like child counseling, sexual awareness, in the pipeline, sponsor brilliant students to build their career etc.
We also organize old clothes/Sleepers/Stationaries/Books drive to collect unused material from societies and distribute to students (sometimes to school as well for common use) after doing some activities like Run to Sun or Tree Plantation in the school.
